Cybathletics is a set of measures that facilitate the transition of people with disabilities to full-fledged household and work activities. Cybathletics demonstrates how the development and use of modern technical devices for rehabilitation (TDR) restores lost functions to a person, changes the attitude of disabled people towards themselves and the attitude of society towards disabled people as equals.
Cybathletics is a competition in the performance of household operations, the exchange of experience and the demonstration of the latest TDR.
From November 30 to December 2, the Russian Cybathletics Championship 2022 was held in Moscow. 120 cybathlets from 33 regions of the Russian Federation took part in the event.

The Cybathletics project was presented to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on July 26, 2017 during his meeting in Petrozavodsk with representatives of socially oriented NGOs and on October 31, 2019 in Svetlogorsk with representatives of the public of the Kaliningrad region.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade expresses interest in the implementation of this project, because it’s aimed at increasing the investment attractiveness of the rehabilitation industry and promoting the products of domestic companies in this industry in the domestic and foreign markets.
